Hailed as “a company well worth watching” by the New York Times, the Brooklyn Arts Song Society (BASS) presents the talents of Michael Brofman, artistic director and pianist, with rising star singers Nils Neubert, Laura Strickling, and Elisabeth Marshall in a concert of songs celebrating their 2015 CD release. Performing a lush and romantic assortment of song cycles written for specifically for the group, the concert will feature work by distinguished and emerging composers Lowell Liebermann, Glen Roven, Michael Djupstrom, Herschel Garfien, James Matheson, and James Kallembach.
