On Thursday, April 30, 2015 the Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago will host its biennial Gala at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago. Guests will celebrate with a feast fit for ancient royalty and enjoy bidding on live and silent auction items while supporting the Oriental Institute’s mission to promote interest in and understanding of ancient Middle Eastern civilizations.
The Oriental Institute Gala is an opportunity to participate in civic engagement, and philanthropy, while celebrating with your peers.

At the Gala Thomas Heagy will be presented with the Institute’s highest honor for philanthropic and volunteer services, the James Henry Breasted Medallion. Past honorees include Jeanne M. and John W. Rowe (Exelon), O.J. Sopranos (Amsted Industries), Rita Picken (Peerless Confections), and Nancy Tieken (H.B.B. Foundation).
