Now in its 20th season, the Jazz X-tet transcends the usual repertoire of a university big band by performing music from a wide range of local and contemporary composers, including Lester Bowie, Bronisław Kaper, Ornette Coleman, Roscoe Mitchell, and Ann Ronell.
